Product Description

One of London's oldest and greatest dining institutions, Kettner’s was opened in 1867 by Auguste Kettner, previously a chef to Napoleon III. Noted regulars included Oscar Wilde, King Edward VII, Agatha Christie and Bing Crosby. In later years, The Clash's Joe Strummer would have solo Sunday lunches there, sitting in a corner and reading newspapers.

Kettner's was bought in 1980 by Pizza Express founder Peter Boizot, who opened a champagne bar as well as creating an affordable menu featuring pizzas, burgers and salads that made Kettner's a beloved destination for young Londoners.

Kettner's is now part of the Soho House club.
