Product Description

The Bal Masque Supper Club was located within the Americana Hotel, a ritzy resort which opened in Bal Harbour, Florida, in 1956. Ultra-luxurious, the 475-room beachfront hotel attracted an upmarket clientele who could afford the then eyebrow-raising $32 cost of a night’s stay.

There were four restaurants with costumed wait staff in the hotel and the nightclub was the setting for spectacular floor shows, featuring top entertainers such as Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, accompanied by full orchestras.

‘One of Florida’s most fabulous nightclubs, daringly original, tremendous in scope!  ‘boasted advertisements which described innovative three-dimensional murals that decorated the night club, with themes from carnivals around the world.

A similar theme of carnival dancers is on the cover of this gorgeously colored menu from the 1970s.

The Americana became the Sheraton Bal Harbour in 1980 and was demolished in 2007 to make way for the St Regis Bal Harbour Resort.
